All Uilleann pipes are individually hand-crafted to order.
Pipes are available in concert pitch D, C#, C, B and Bb. Sets are available '1/2', '3/4', and 'Full' configurations. NO PRACTICE SETS. Main components are fashioned from ebony, trimmed with boxwood mounts and metalwork is either brass or 304 grade stainless steel. The choice of metalware has no effect on the tonal quality of the pipes. Stainless steel is a practical innovation in modern Uilleann pipes, as it does not tarnish and therefore requires little or no maintenance to preserve its lustre. Custom work is accepted.
